Merial assumes and has no responsibility to verify that the Member has received appropriate authorization from his/her office manager for Program participation; Merial shall not be liable in any way in the event that such authorization is not properly acquired by the Member. Members earn award points based on qualified coupon submissions, provided Member is in active status (as described below) within the Program.
To receive Program point credit, the coupon must be completed in its entirety according to the terms and conditions on the coupon, and include the Program Member ID. Members may earn award points for other Program activities offered by Merial from time to time.
Coupons are distributed based on rules determined by your office manager. Current options for point distribution include “team play” and “name on coupon.” To find out how your clinic is currently participating, please consult your office manager or MERIAL Rewards Program Headquarters at 1-800-307-7000.
Point Distribution Rules: “Team Play” and “Name on Coupon” are described as the following:
Earnings begin at time of enrollment; no coupon submission or other activities that occurred prior to the date of enrollment shall count towards the accumulation of any Program points or benefits of any kind. Earnings are applicable to “Active” Members only. If a Member is inactivated or deleted from the Program, the Member will forfeit any further earnings associated with Member’s clinic. In the event an inactivated or deleted member becomes active again, the Member will only be eligible for earnings accumulated following Member’s reactivation date. (Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of Merial Customer Marketing management).
During the period that a veterinary clinic is placed in “Inactive” status as a Merial account, “Active” Members within that clinic will be ineligible to earn Program points. If such veterinary clinic is reinstated as an “Active” Merial account, the Members within that clinic will be eligible to earn Program points as of the date of reactivation. (Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of Merial Customer Marketing management). Coupons that cannot be matched to an active, eligible clinic and/or active Member will not be awarded as part of the normal awards process or for any special promotions implemented by Merial.
By participating in this program, you understand that all Member earnings (plus any adjustments) are considered income and are taxable by the IRS and other tax jurisdictions. Member expressly consents and agrees that Merial or its authorized third party vendor will store and use Member’s social security number for tax reporting purposes only. Members are responsible for all applicable taxes. Member earnings and prizes will be reported, as required, by Merial to the appropriate agencies.
Program statements are available online at www.merialrewardsprogram.com to help Members track year-to-date earnings and activity. It is the responsibility of the Member, not Merial or the Program, to keep track of earnings. Your points are issued to you and applied to a Merial Rewards Visa® Prepaid Card. Points will be determined by your member status: Active or Inactive. If you change clinics, it’s important that you update your profile.
You will receive a MERIAL Rewards Visa Prepaid Card once you have earned 50 points ($50) and have earned at least 1 point ($1) within the prior 12-months. Your card must also be activated before it can be used. To activate your MERIAL Rewards Visa Prepaid Card, log on to www.myMRPcard.com. Once activated, the card is valid until the expiration date on the card. Point transfers are not permitted; however, Members may gift points to other Members. For complete details, please contact your Merial Sales Representative or call 1-800-307-7000.
Members who move from an eligible clinic to another eligible clinic must contact MERIAL Rewards Program Headquarters at 1-800-307-7000 or through www.merialrewardsprogram.com to have their clinic affiliation updated.
Members who are no longer employed by an eligible clinic will be removed from the Program. As the Program requires a member to be affiliated with an eligible clinic, any points that have not been added to the member’s MERIAL Rewards Prepaid Visa card will be forfeited.
Members who work for an eligible clinic but no longer wish to participate in the Program may choose to become an inactive Member, or be removed from the Program entirely. If inactive, the Member will be able to access www.merialrewardsprogram.com to view balance information and will also be eligible to receive Program information and communications. If removed, the Member will no longer be able to access www.merialrewardsprogram.com and will not receive Program information or communications.
- Members who are removed or inactive will have access to any balances remaining on their MERIAL Rewards Program Visa Prepaid Card until its expiration date.
The Program is an awards program sponsored by MERIAL. Enrolled Members earn between .5 and 2 points for every eligible HEARTGARD® (ivermectin), FRONTLINE® , and NexGard® (afoxolaner), Brand Product coupon (accompanied by a receipt) validly submitted to MERIAL Coupon Headquarters.
